Welcome Back Dean!

October 19, 2008 by

Mark, Jimmy and I would like to officially welcome back to the lineup our old friend and founding member Dean Cramer. We are all very sorry that Rob has some family matters that requires more of his time and we will truly miss his great guitar playing and song writing contributions he has made over the last five years. We are sad to see him go and we wish him nothing but the best. But if we have to replace him with somebody, it’s great that Dean was available, willing and ready to rejoin Funny Money. We hope the fans will continue to come out and support our band and give Rob a super send off over the next month and a great big welcome back to Dean. His first gig back will be at Fat Daddy’s in York PA. We are truly fortunate that we will be able to go on and not miss a beat.

Thanks to all the Funny Money fans for your rabid support over the years, let’s keep rocking!

Old Friends at RTB ’08

This doesn’t have anything to do with Funny Money BUT . . . it was good to see Dee Snider again in Houston when he surprised me from behind and came up for the sing along in Cold Blood. As you may know, Jimmy and I sang backups on Twisted Sister’s ‘Love is for Suckers’ LP which was produced by Beau Hill. So Dee and we go way back and it was good to see those guys again.

Brett Michaels is one of the nicest most genuine guys you’ll ever get to meet and has always been that way. Brett is from Harrisburg and Poison (then known as Paris) was a local band playing the same circuit KIX was back in the day. In Houston, Brett graciously invited me over to his tour bus and we had a nice extended chat about the old days. I hope to see Brett and perform with him again soon.
